Canine Walks
It is vital your Canine companion gets the exercise it so importantly needs to stay fit and healthy. Collar and Canine walks are taken in a variety of locations (dependant on the group of dogs, their needs/behaviours and the collection/drop-off areas being considered). This is to ensure the dogs get the exercise that suits them best and limits the transit time in the van.
Favourable destinations include Oxshott common, Surrey Hills, Chobham common, Esher common, Wey River and local parks for dogs with less stamina!
ONLY dogs with a proven 100% recall will be allowed off leash (particularly as dog thefts have sadly become a common occurrence).
Dogs are collected/dropped home in an air-conditioned van. During transportation they have their own cage with comfy bedding - for lying their weary head from all the fun exercise they've had! All dogs are offered filtered water throughout the walk and on return to the van. I endeavour to bring your furry friend home with washed, cleaned, paws, legs and tummy if their fun gets messy!!
Ideally your furry friend should be friendly and sociable with other dogs. Any dog with social, behaviour or recall issues may require a more advanced service to help with the issues. Options/prices can be discussed one to one.
Any dog new to Collar and Canine will get a solo walk initially before joining group walks.
Health and hygiene is extremely important at Collar and Canine. I would ask for all furry friend's to be up to date with vaccinations, wormer, flea and tick protection. Any concerns regarding their well-being (i.e. ticks, fleas, cuts, grazes) will be brought to the owners attention ASAP.
Your dog MUST of course be micro-chipped - as required by law.
I ask that your dog wears a secure collar or harness when collected, I use my own leads and attach a Collar and Canine ID tag for extra
security.

Solo walks are offered but there is limited availability.
(All walks include a rinse and dry at the end if required. A full shampoo, rinse and dry is only an extra £3.00 - Guaranteeing your furry friend comes home smelling gorgeous!!)
